Professional dating in the USA
The USA is our biggest market by some distance — members from New York and New Jersey through Texas, Illinois, Georgia and California.
American professionals have a version of the problem PFS was built for, only more so. The hours are longer, the commute is often a flight, and the people you meet through work are the people you cannot date. A national site does not fix that on its own — what helps is a smaller pool of people who understand what a 60-hour week does to a calendar.
Geography does more work here than anywhere else we operate. In the New York and New Jersey corridor and around Boston, “nearby” genuinely means nearby — the density is on your side and a weeknight drink is realistic. In Texas, California and the Mountain West it does not: Dallas to Austin is three hours, and members there tend to search their metro rather than their state, and plan around weekends instead.
One thing worth knowing before you sign up: our US membership skews female by a wide margin, more so than in any other market we run. If you are a man in the States, the search results will look considerably deeper than the national picture on most dating sites.
