Professional dating in Canada
Our Canadian membership is centred on Toronto and southern Ontario, and it is one of the markets we are actively growing.
Canada concentrates its professional population into a handful of corridors — the Toronto–Hamilton–Ottawa stretch, the Montreal region, Calgary and Edmonton, and the Lower Mainland around Vancouver. Between those corridors the distances are continental. For dating that means the sensible search is your corridor, not your province, and certainly not the country.
Winter is the other honest variable, and members here talk about it more than you would expect. Between November and March a first meeting is more likely to be a coffee near an office than a drive across the city, so a match who works in the same part of town as you is worth more here than the raw distance suggests.
PFS is smaller in Canada than in the UK or the States, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise. Toronto has the deepest pool by a clear margin. Elsewhere, a free profile is the fastest way to be found by the people signing up around you — the search works both ways.
